  1. Help: group assignments                                           14.03.93
  2. In reference to the group assignments made in the list of knwon
  3. addresses Net-Control can control and store the activities of the
  4. defined groups.
  5.  
  6. ≤You can edit for each group:≥
  7. - The name of the group.
  8. - The minimum acceptable value for the amount of the packets sent
  9.   in a minute by this group.
  10. - The corresponding maximum value.
  11. - The question, whether an alarm should be triggered.

  13. In addition Net-Control indicates in the last column of the list,
  14. how many addresses from the list of the known addresses in the
  15. corresponding group are. This serves for the avoidance of "empty"
  16. addressgroups. Besides you see directly, to how many addresses you
  17. still have no group associated: these are found in the group 0.

  20. ≤Changing the name of a group definition:≥
  21. You can change the default names of the three group definitions
  22. (≤I - segments≥, ≤II - protocols≥ and ≤III - machine types≥) by
  23. ⌠<F8>⌡. To store this change permanently you must ⌠save configuration⌡
  24. in the main menu.
